Nokia X+ Android

Nokia X+ is second entry in the Nokia’s X series of Android Smartphone. Nokia launched its first ever android phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona followed by Nokia X plus on Monday. Nokia X+ is the upgraded version of Nokia X. You will have to wait to get your hands on Nokia X+. It is expected to hit the market in April 2014.

Let’s talk about the phone, it has got decent features. Most of the features are same as Nokia X except the RAM. Good news for game enthusiast, it packs 256MB more RAM. You can enjoy good gaming experience with larger Ram and dual core processor. As talked in the earlier post on Nokia X the twist continues with Nokia X+. Infact all the phones in X series don’t have Google apps.

Nokia developed the 3 X series Android phones under their Android Open Source Project. It is the free version of Android OS that does not require any permission from Google. But they can’t provide services that require Google’s permission like Youtube, Google Play Store, Gmail. Nokia has replaced these services with their own like Here Maps replaces Google Maps and Microsoft cloud replacing Google cloud. Apps can be downloaded from Nokia’s version of the Google Play Store. So basically every service is taken care of by Nokia. There is no need to worry for users.
